After retiring, Jeff and Kristin were drawn to the peaceful charm of the Shenandoah Valley and decided to turn a new chapter of their lives into something meaningful. When they came across a beautiful property for sale in Luray, they saw an opportunity to create a space that would reflect their love for community, nature, and local craftsmanship. From goat yoga to rock sales, gardening seminars, or even fundraisers, we love our events here at Massanutten Country Corner! Check out what we have coming up on our FB page!

We found our first monarch caterpillars of the season munching away on our milkweed plants! 🐛🌿 That means the incredible monarch journey is officially underway here at MCC! We’re currently working on setting up our butterfly enclosure, and as the season unfolds, we’ll be raising many more monarchs from caterpillar ➡ chrysalis ➡ butterfly. It’s one of the most magical things to witness, and we’ll be sharing it all right here on social media, so stay tuned! 📲🧡

🌎 Did you know? Monarchs migrate up to 3,000 miles to Mexico each fall, and some of our very own butterflies will be part of that great migration! 🧭🇲🇽 As we raise and release them, some lucky visitors may even get the chance to help set a monarch free on its journey south. 👐🦋 This is just the beginning of a beautiful, nature-filled adventure, follow along and come visit to see the magic in real life! ✨🌼
